• A parable of compliance issues and their link to EBFM outcomes.

Pope, John; Weber, Charlotte Teresa (Journal article; Tidsskriftartikkel; Peer reviewed, 2018-11-14)

Fisheries Stakeholders are understandably most concerned with immediate problems. Often these problems are related to proposed rule changes. This short term focus is in itself a serious problem for introducing Ecosystems Based Fisheries Management (EBFM), which is typically seen as a long-term approach. However, the short-term response of fishers to rule changes may well have long-term consequences ...
• Antimicrobial resistance in wildlife – potential for dissemination: Opinion of the Panel on Microbial Ecology of the Norwegian Scientific Committee for Food and Environment

Nielsen, Kaare Magne; Gjøen, Tor; Asare, Nana Yaa Ohene; Lunestad, Bjørn Tore; Ytrehus, Bjørnar; Yazdankhah, Siamak Pour; Godfroid, Jacques; Jelmert, Anders; Klein, Joern; Okoli, Arinze Stanley; Tronsmo, Arne (Research report; Forskningsrapport, 2018-03-16)

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is recognised as one of the greatest public health concerns of our time. The development of AMR occurs in nature as a defence by microbes against naturally occurring antimicrobials. However, the selective pressure, generated by the use of antimicrobial agents in human and veterinary medicine, livestock and plant production as well as aquaculture practices, is the ...
• Rigidity of 2-step carnot groups

Godoy Molina, Mauricio; Kruglikov, Boris; Markina, Irina; Vasiliev, Alexander (Journal article; Tidsskriftartikkel; Peer reviewed, 2017-06-19)
In the present paper we study the rigidity of 2-step Carnot groups, or equivalently, of graded 2-step nilpotent Lie algebras. We prove the alternative that depending on bi-dimensions of the algebra, the Lie algebra structure makes it either always of infinite type or generically rigid, and we specify the bi-dimensions for each of the choices. Explicit criteria for rigidity of pseudo Hand J-type ...
• Familien som aktør i kommunal eldreomsorg

Sørly, Rita (Journal article; Tidsskriftartikkel, 2017-09-29)
