Flora Danica i Tromsø: Den yngre Flora Danica

The name Flora Danica – the flora of Denmark - is used for two richly illustrated books and a magnificent service. The oldest book called Flora Danica was published in 1648 by physician and anatomen Simon Paulli (1603-1680). Pauli was appointed as professor of anatomy and surgery at the University of Copenhagen.
