dc.description.abstractForeign fishing vessels are landing catches in South African ports, however, there are number of issues, procedures and persons involved in the process to facilitate those vessels into port. So this study concerns understanding and law implications as diversified from the actual practicing of the law. The legal analysis boils down to textual analysis to see whether national achievements are more or less well bestowed within the limits of the international - as well as national law in communication, co-operation and coordination of what is the laws efforts to control overfishing, black listed and other illegal, unreported and unregistered fishing.en
