In this paper we will show that it is possible to combine mobile agent technology with existing non-mobile data mining applications. The motivation for this is the advantage mobile agents offer in moving the computation closer to the data in a distributed system. This can save bandwidth and increase performance when the data is condensed as a result of data mining.en
