dc.description.abstract | The main duty for an ordinary court of law is to settle litigation. The main duty of the land consolidation
court, by contrast, concerns land consolidation or severance, which are common terms for
processes for improving property structures. The differences in the duties of the two courts have resulted
in differences in procedural requirements.
This article presents an analysis of differences and similarities in the legal use and significance of
procedural requirements. The special features in the land consolidation court such as the requirement
to improve property structures, the use of means which can improve the situation, the guarantee
against losses, and legal indistinctness will be examined.
The article also examines what the term “legal interest” implies in the two different procedures. | en |
