Other evidence of exposure to the pathogen was collected through serological testing (Rose Bengal test) and B. melitensis-specific ...
    • Modernisering, etnisitet og emigrasjon. Utvandringa frå Hammerfest prestegjeld til Nord-Amerika 1865 - 1925

    • Sexual Harassment or Just Coaching? Sport Students Making Sense of Possibly Sexualising Coach Behaviours

Strandbu, Åse; Solstad, Gerd Marie; Stefansen, Kari; Sandvik, Morten Renslo (Journal article; Tidsskriftartikkel; Peer reviewed, 2022-11-24)
Research has shown that athletes are divided in their assessment of possibly sexualising behaviours from coaches towards athletes. How they arrive at their conclusions has received less attention—yet it is crucial to understand as a basis for safeguarding measures. Using video-elicitation focus group interviews with sport students, we zoomed in on different types of ‘grey area’ situations involving ...
    • Biliary Adenofibroma: A Rare Liver Tumor with Transition to Invasive Carcinoma

Alshbib, Ayham; Grzyb, Krzysztof; Syversveen, Trygve; Reims, Henrik Mikael; Lassen, Kristoffer; Yaqub, Sheraz (Journal article; Tidsskriftartikkel; Peer reviewed, 2022-02-07)
Biliary adenofibroma is a rare benign liver tumor with potential for malignant transition. It has a bile duct origin characterized by a complex tubulocystic biliary epithelium with fibrous stroma. MRI features may suggest this uncommon entity, and histological findings can be diagnostic. We report a case of biliary adenofibroma with transformation to an intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
    • Recombinant T-cell receptors from HPA-1a specific T-cells

Sætre, Thomas (Mastergradsoppgave; Master thesis, 2022-02-01)
Fetal- and neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia is a condition that can cause hemorrhage and potential brain damage or death in neonates. It is most often a result of maternal alloantibodies specific for fetal Human Platelet antigen 1a (HPA-1a) that destroy fetal platelets. The recognition of the HPA-1a peptide-MHC complex by T-cells involve a peculiar form of T-cell receptor peptide-MHC ...
    • Reflections on the nature of measurement in language-based automated assessments of patients' mental state and cognitive function

Foltz, Peter W.; Chandler, Chelsea; Diaz-Asper, Catherine; Cohen, Alex S.; Rodriguez, Zachary; Holmlund, Terje Bektesevic; Elvevåg, Brita (Journal article; Tidsskriftartikkel; Peer reviewed, 2022-09-22)
Modern advances in computational language processing methods have enabled new approaches to the measurement of mental processes. However, the field has primarily focused on model accuracy in predicting performance on a task or a diagnostic category. Instead the field should be more focused on determining which computational analyses align best with the targeted neurocognitive/psychological functions ...
    • Global Solidarity, Differentiated Responsibilities and the Law of the Sea

Barnes, Richard Alan (Chapter; Bokkapittel, 2022-08-27)
The United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea 1982 appears to be strongly concerned with common interests and goals; the Convention could be characterised as enshrining the idea of global solidarity. Global solidarity is concerned with cooperation between States to address issues of collective concern in a way that recognises differences in individual States’ needs and capacities. There has ...
    • An Advisory Opinion on Climate Change Obligations Under International Law: A Realistic Prospect?

Barnes, Richard Alan (Journal article; Tidsskriftartikkel; Peer reviewed, 2022-08-18)
On 31 October 2021, an agreement was signed between Antigua and Barbuda and Tuvalu that established a commission with the power to request an advisory opinion from the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS). Since ITLOS’s advisory jurisdiction has been tested in only one case, I explain and evaluate the procedural obstacles facing this commission, as well as the potential questions ...

In the present paper, we describe our ongoing work on developing a new game-inspired approach for assisting and training staff in designing for learning. Building on our experiences from the process of working with learning design through structured workshops, we are looking for alternative formats that can facilitate a more holistic and efficient approach to the process. Turning to the field of ...

    • Predator co-occurrence in alpine and Arctic tundra in relation to fluctuating prey

Rød-Eriksen, Lars; Killengreen, Siw Turid; Ehrich, Dorothee; Ims, Rolf Anker; Herfindal, Ivar; Landa, Arild; Eide, Nina Elisabeth (Journal article; Tidsskriftartikkel; Peer reviewed, 2022-12-18)
      1. Large carnivores influence ecosystem dynamics in multiple ways, for example, by suppressing meso-carnivores and providing carrions for smaller scavengers. Loss of large carnivores is suggested to cause meso-carnivore increase and expansion. Moreover, competition between meso-carnivores may be modified by the presence of larger carnivores. In tundra ecosystems, the smallest meso-carnivore, ...
    • Cone beam computed tomography in the assessment of TMJ deformity in children with JIA: repeatability of a novel scoring system

Angenete, Oskar W; Augdal, Thomas Angell; Shi, Xie-Qi; Säll, Mats; Fischer, Johannes Maria; Nordal, Ellen Berit; Rosendahl, Karen (Journal article; Tidsskriftartikkel; Peer reviewed, 2023-01-10)

The present study aims to investigate the precision of 20 imaging features and fve measurements ...

Makt påvirker i stor grad vår arbeidsplass. Derfor har jeg valgt å undersøke hvordan begrepet makt ...

    • The effect of temperature on growth performance and aerobic metabolic scope in Arctic charr, Salvelinus alpinus (L.)

Beuvard, Christian; Imsland, Albert; Thorarensen, Helgi (Journal article; Tidsskriftartikkel; Peer reviewed, 2021-11-06)
In recent years, Arctic char populations in Iceland have declined and the objective of this experiment was to throw further light on these changes by examining the effect of temperature (5, 9, 13, 17, and 21 °C) on the survival, growth rate, metabolism, and physiological indices of juvenile Arctic charr (initial mean body mass 4.02 ± 0.8 g). Mortality was 60% at 21 °C while at lower temperatures it ...
