dc.description.abstractThe following thesis discusses the lexical differences between three verbs of similar meaning in Spanish: elaborar, realizar and efectuar-. The three could be seen as synonyms of 'hacer', but this thesis shows that a careful examination of their direct objects and temporal forms shows significant differences that explain why their use is not identical.en_US
