Abstract

Avhandlingens tema er virksomheters gjenopprettingsplikt for negative påvirkninger på menneskerettigheter etter åpenhetsloven og aktsomhetsdirektivet. Oppgaven analyserer gjenopprettingspliktens rettslige innhold og rekkevidde, samt gjenopprettingspliktens juridiske grunnlag og tilknytning til internasjonale prinsipper.

The topic of this thesis is companies' duty to remedy adverse impacts on human rights under åpenhetsloven and the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). The thesis analyzes the legal content and scope of the remediation obligation, as well as its legal basis and connection to international principles.
