dc.description.abstractWith the presence of traditional thick and heavy cables for charging, the risk of humans exposed to high-voltage, and due to mechanical wear and tear in conductive materials, inductive wireless charging was introduced which is the future of charging technology. This project has focused on magnetic-coupled wireless transfer with some key components involved such as a DC voltage source, a full-bridge inverter, LLC resonant tank, an isolated transformer, a full-bridge rectifier, and a resistance load. Various topologies were consulted from previous literatures on Electric Vehicles, buses, and trams but only one topology was adopted, which is the LLC resonant converter topology. A successful wireless transfer of energy was made after careful modelling and simulation, design and construction were done with desired specifications. A laboratory prototype was also built and the design steps, its theoretical analysis, and required calculations can be seen in this report. This project will serve as a guide for small electric vessels in choosing and implementing the optimum wireless charger at a beneficial cost.en_US
