dc.description.abstract | This thesis presents Sphero NAV, a camera based navigation and control platform for the robotic ball Orbotix Sphero. Sphero NAV is a Python library that serves as a base for developing new Sphero applications. The library allows for communication and control of one or multiple Sphero devices using Sphero’s rich API and functionality. Sphero NAV implements a tracker system that uses image based position tracking. A camera mounted in the celling over the tracking area captures a video stream. The system analyzes the images and locates the devices position. | en |
