Conflicts at Asylum Reception Centers. A study of employee's understanding and management of conflict at Norwegian asylum reception centers
This thesis deals with conflicts in asylum reception centers. People with different nationalities, religions, languages, ethnicities, cultures and political opinions are gathered in a limited area, waiting for their future to be determined by Norwegian authorities. This is a suitable venue for conflicts. The thesis looks into the role of the employees working in the asylum centers and their understanding of conflict. In addition, it looks at how the employees manages the potential conflicts.
