dc.description.abstract | The video games industry is now one of the biggest entertainment industries
in the world. Forb es magazine estimates that the video game industry will sell
games for 70 billion dollars by the end of 2015, and the biggest growth is in
the mobile market. While most of the video game industry is creating games
strictly for entertainment purp oses, there is a growing demand for games that
can b e used for other applications. This pap er will lo ok into making games that
help children learn and prepare them for the highly technological world they
will grow up in. Touch screen were a novelty 10 years ago, now touch screens
are found in multiple places, and it can b e b eneficial to intro duce children to
this technology early. The pap er will also lo ok at how video games are created,
the limitations of creating games for mobile devices and mobile technology and
lo ok at some of the b enefits and drawback of mobile games. | en_US |
