dc.description.abstract | In this article we discuss whether the hypothesis that the suffix -oso is an abstract relational element –closer to adpositions than to adjectives– is plausible or not. This view would have the advantage that it would make possible an explanation of its semantic flexibility and the fact that it is used to derive a
heterogeneous family of elements, but it also faces a number of apparent counterexamples that are discussed in detail in this work. | en_US |
