In this thesis, synthesis of 3 different dibenzylideneacetone (DBA)-analogues and 4 different ethyl 2-oxo-6-phenyl-4-(2-phenylethenyl)-4-cyclohexene-1-carboxylate-analogues that have not been reported before were synthesized, as well as a range of analogues that have been reported before.
