Climate change poses significant challenges to the sustainable management of transboundary aquifers, crucial freshwater sources for multiple nations. This paper examines the legal frameworks governing these vital water resources and identifies the need for substantial revisions to address the evolving environmental conditions. Through a detailed analysis of current international laws and agreements, the study highlights the gaps and inadequacies in the frameworks that may hinder effective aquifer management in the face of climate change. The paper proposes targeted legal reforms to enhance the resilience and adaptability of transboundary aquifer management. These recommendations are designed to foster greater cooperation among riparian states, integrate climate change predictions into water management policies, and ensure equitable and sustainable utilization of water resources. By advocating for a proactive approach to legal adaptation, this study contributes to the ongoing discourse on environmental law and transboundary water management, offering a pathway towards more robust and climate-responsive legal frameworks. The findings and proposals outlined in this paper are intended to guide policymakers, legal scholars, and environmental stakeholders in formulating strategic interventions that address current challenges and anticipate future issues in transboundary aquifer management.en_US
