Läsa genom att skriva : datorstödd läs- och skrivinlärning
The aim of this study is to examine in which way a computer can support in learning how to read an write. A group containing eight pupils at ages seven and eight, at first grade, was studied. Four actions were performed over a period of about three months. The pupils worked together in pairs at each computer. They cooperated in writing stories together. During the actions the children were observed with focus om how they worked technically on the computers, the conversations they had, how they wrote, read and cooperated. Interviews, observations and log books were used to collect data. Reflections on the actions were recorded in the log book before and after each session. After the actions interviews were conducted with each pupil on what he or she thought of the tasks. The collected data was analysed on the aspects of writing, reading, cooperation and dialogue. In conclusion this study indicates that the computer can be a support in learning how to read and write in the different aspects of reading, writing, cooperation and dialogue.
