En notis i Aftenposten viser at han ved sin død var kjent nok til å bli omtalt i norske aviser, men samtidig at han fortsatt befant seg i skyggen av sin yngre bror Petrus Læstadius (1802–1841) som hadde vært død i 20 år. | en_US |
