dc.description.abstractMy thesis brings out the legal aspects of the Ecosystem Approach(EA) to fisheries Conservation and management in International Environmental Law. It examines the relevant Agreements governing the conservation and management of fisheries in International Environmental Law such as the LOSC, the CBD, the FSA, and COP decisions. It examines to what extent these Agreements adopt the EA to fisheries, and also the duty for states to implement provisions of these Agreements which adopts and reflects the EA to fisheries.en
