dc.description.abstract	The aim of this thesis is to provide a description of the language attitudes of a group of informants from the region Zona Central in Chile toward their own and other varieties of Spanish. A second objective is to investigate the relationship between the social variables, age, education and gender, and said attitudes. The analysis is based on the answers of 69 informants and data was collected through a questionnaire as well as two informal interviews.	en_US
