I denne oppgaven har jeg tatt for meg den amerikanske bioterrorloven, P.L. 107-188. Loven ble vedtatt av president George W. Bush på bakgrunn av terroraksjonen i USA 11. september 2001. P.L. 107-188 inneholder nye importregler for matvarer som skal til USA. Jeg har studert hvilke virkninger importreglene har fått for eksportører, transport- og spedisjonsfirma i Norge. Dette er nyttig fordi innføring av nye lover og krav ofte kan medføre nye og uventede konsekvenser når disse settes i verk.
